My Philosophy
Though surgery can be a positively life altering treatment, I generally recommend nonoperative management whenever appropriate due to the potential risks involved with any surgical procedure. Toward that end and to minimize the time that you are symptomatic, we in most cases will maximize the use of modalities. These include medications – both oral and topical, DME bracing, and injections such as orthovisc /corticosteroids, and physical therapy.
